Major insomnia, any advice?

I can’t sleep. every night for the past two weeks it becomes about 30 minutes later before i finally drift off after trying for about 3 hours. Its been like this since a sleepover kept me up till 6 and threw me all out of whack. I need to start sleeping again. Its 2 AM and i’ve been trying to sleep since 11. I’ll let it pass for tonight but i need a PERMANENT solution. What should i do?
